Dolce Cono

Dolce Cono at Crema House in Ottawa is our house-made ice cream served in a crisp, golden waffle cone. Dolce cono is Italian for sweet cone, and the flavours run across both halves of our repertoire: Saffron and Pomegranate from the Persian side, Pistachio, Hazelnut and Vanilla from the Italian, and a Mango Sorbet made without dairy. The ice cream is made in small batches and scooped to order at the counter on Clyde Avenue. Pistachio and Hazelnut contain nuts, and every flavour is scooped from a shared case. One cone is one scoop; Mix & Match gives you two flavours in one cone. It is eaten on the spot, and it is the pairing we suggest after a Cannoli in summer.

This is the Pomegranate cone: tart, deep pink and made with pomegranate juice.
