Barbari Bread at Crema House is the Persian flatbread with finger-drawn furrows and a toasted sesame crust, baked each morning in Ottawa. We make it with 70% whole wheat and 30% white flour. The crust is golden and crisp, the inside soft. Tear it warm with butter, feta and herbs.

Blueberry Roll at Crema House is a Danish pastry filled with custard and topped with fresh blueberries, baked each morning in Ottawa. The pastry is flaky and golden, the custard soft, and the fruit tart against both. It is a sweet breakfast pastry, sized for one.

Mix Fruits Danish at Crema House is a butter Danish filled with custard and topped with mixed fruit, baked in Ottawa. The fruit changes with the season; the custard and the flaky pastry do not. It is sweet without being sugary, and one Danish is a single serving.

This is the Mixed Fruits Danish, topped with the season's fresh fruit.

Cherry & Greek Yogurt Danish at Crema House is a butter pastry with Greek yogurt and cherries, baked each morning in Ottawa. The yogurt gives a tangy, creamy centre and the cherries a sharp, sweet fruit note. It is a single-serving breakfast pastry, lighter in sweetness than most.

Butter Chocolate Danish at Crema House is a laminated butter pastry with a chocolate filling, baked each morning in Ottawa. The layers bake crisp and golden around a soft centre where the chocolate sits. It is sweet and rich, a single-serving breakfast pastry, best eaten the day it is made.

Bacon & Egg Croissant at Crema House is a breakfast sandwich: our butter croissant filled with bacon and egg, made in Ottawa. The croissant is baked each morning and filled while fresh. It contains pork, so it is not a vegetarian option. Eaten in hand, it is a filling start to the day.

Ham & Cheese Danish at Crema House is a laminated butter pastry filled with ham and cheese, baked each morning in Ottawa. It is a savoury pastry, not a sweet one, with melted cheese and sliced ham inside crisp layers. It contains pork, and one Danish makes a light breakfast or lunch.

Cinnamon Roll at Crema House is a soft roll swirled with cinnamon sugar and finished with icing, baked each morning in Ottawa. The dough is pillowy and the cinnamon warm rather than sharp. We keep a light hand with the icing. One roll is a single serving, and a generous one.

Samosa at Crema House is a triangular pastry with a spiced filling, folded by hand and made in our Ottawa kitchen. The pastry is crisp and golden around a warmly spiced filling. It is a snack or light lunch, eaten warm or at room temperature. Ask at the counter for the filling in today's batch.

Lime & Cream Cheese Danish at Crema House is a butter pastry with a lime-brightened cream cheese filling, baked in Ottawa. The filling is smooth and tangy, and the lime cuts through the richness of the pastry. It is sweet, but sharp rather than sugary. One Danish is a single serving, eaten fresh.

Parisian Baguette at Crema House is a long French white loaf with a crackling crust and an open crumb, baked in Ottawa. A baguette is made from flour, water, salt and yeast, which is why it is best the day it is baked. Tear it by hand, or slice it for sandwiches.

Sourdough Oat Porridge is a naturally leavened loaf made with an oat porridge worked into the dough. The porridge keeps the crumb soft and moist, while the crust bakes firm and dark around it. It is baked in house and sold whole at Crema House in Ottawa.

French Loaf is a plain white loaf in the French style, with a crisp crust and an open, airy crumb. There is nothing added to it beyond the dough itself. It is baked in house and sold whole at Crema House in Ottawa, while quantities last.
