Blasercafé has roasted in Bern, Switzerland since 1922, and Marrone is its dark-roasted blend of 70% arabica and 30% robusta. The cup has notes of dark chocolate, roasted almond, gingerbread and baked apple, with low acidity and a naturally sweet finish. The robusta gives a thick crema and body, which is why it works for espresso and holds up under milk. Beans are whole, so grind them just before brewing for a moka pot, espresso machine or filter.
