Vanilla is the vanilla version of our Log Cake, a whole rolled cake filled and shaped into a log, then cut into rounds so each piece holds cake and filling in the same proportion. The vanilla flavour carries through the roll rather than sitting in one part of it, which keeps the cake even from end to end. It is made to order in our pasticceria, so we ask for a day's notice when the order is placed, and it is kept cold until collection. It is at its best on the day it is picked up.
