Wild Berry Tart Cake, 12Cut at Crema House is a whole fruit tart cut into twelve even portions before pickup. It is made in our Ottawa pasticceria. It is built like a classic fruit tart: a baked pastry shell, a layer of cream filling and mixed berries on top. The berries are arranged so that every piece gets fruit. The pre-cut makes it a practical choice for office catering Ottawa orders, meetings and buffets, where nobody wants to find a knife. It is not vegan and has no nuts in the recipe, though it is made in a shared kitchen. Serve it cold; it is fresh and sharp rather than heavy. Whole tarts need a day's notice, and pickup is at 14-1400 Clyde Avenue. It pairs well with a Caffè Latte.
